What Rapid Response can offer:
Assistance in setting up a "Reemployment Committee" (REC) to address the needs of the business and workers during the transition.
This REC assists workers by:
Identifying / surveying needs, coordinating resources, on-site services and providing a vehicle to communicate readjustment information.
Once the REC is set up, they can arrange for a wide
variety of services, including:
Reemployment presentation of options to help plan for the future
On-site unemployment insurance application,
Dislocated worker and placement assistance,
Career and job fairs
Adult Basic Education and English as a Second Language
Financial planning and credit readjustment information
Other needs assessments and identified services.
