Rapid Response Team: A Strong Partnership:
Organized in 1989, the Seattle-King County Rapid Response Team is the locally coordinated, community-wide resource for businesses and employers confronting employee dislocation. The team is comprised of Washington State Employment Security Department, King County Dislocated Worker Program, Community & Technical Colleges, and the Reemployment Support Center, AFL-CIO. The team is available to bring on site and in advance of layoffs a variety of services to assist companies and workers during workforce reductions.
